Excellent Service and Great Golf Course Views

Our senior softball team stayed here for four nights, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! We looked online at hotels from the south side of Seattle all the way down to Federal Way, decided that this was our best option and we were right. From Andrew, the GM, all the way to Paciencia, the Breakfast Ambassador and Johanna at the front desk, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Our group had rooms with the golf course view and found it particularly relaxing. The rooms were well appointed and well maintained by housekeeping. When you see the front of the hotel located in a "strip mall" you kind of wonder what the property will look like - but in the case of Plaza by the Green, there is no need to be concerned about this top notch property! Thanks to all of the staff there.

You Can't Go Wrong

The room was spotless and remained so the entire four days we stayed. The décor was modern, the mattresses comfortable, and there were both soft and firm pillows available, depending on your preference. We had a view of the golf course, and, even though we don't play, had fun watching the golfers try to make par. The hotel offered breakfast every morning, and, though not a full, hot breakfast, there were small omelets and sausages available, as well as waffles and the usual cold selections. They had cookies in the lobby in the afternoon, coffee and tea service, and a manager's reception with wine and cheese on Tuesday evening. A Shari's restaurant is on the corner and is open 24 hours. The staff were all friendly. There were two computers available for those who didn't bring their own laptop. If you wanted to take a morning walk, the hotel is a few blocks from a really nice walking/bike trail

Good Hotel at a Great Price

We stayed here two nights and I can recommend staying here. We had a room with a view of the golf course, which I would recommend asking for. The room was clean and the bathroom was excellent and clean with a great shower. The room was small, but for the price ($99/night), a good value. The breakfast in the morning was very good and well organized and the lady in charge very helpful.

Great Stay and Great Value

The BW Plaza is a great place for a business stay (due to its proximity to the companies I visited) and I also heard fellow residents who were on a leisure trip say the same about their stay. Service is excellent and very friendly. The courtesy van driver on the way back to the airport took us on a scenic route to show off the flora and fauna of the Kent area and also gave very useful directions to the passengers on using public transport to get into town and about. Breakfast is more than ample, with a fantastic choice of omelettes, boiled eggs, sausages, waffles, yogurt, breads, juices and tea and coffee. The location is the main attraction with the view over the golf course. At breakfast the view overlooking the golf course, especially to see the ducks rambling about outside your window and the squirrels trying to get food out of the feeder is very invigorating and prepares you well for a great day ahead. With free transport on the hour to and from Seatac, the location is great as one can get to downtown Seattle from the airport very easily. The best thing about the stay was the excellence in service and the breakfast. What I liked the least was I was unable to stay for more than a night at the hotel. But I will come back with my family for a longer visit later this year!!!
